SPECIAL EVENING EVENTS

 

SCOA and Empire Saluki Club will co-host the following two events. We are passing through our costs for the dinner and use of the room with no additional charges. To help fund this specialty weekend, SCOA and Empire will be holding a silent auction, raffles and a live auction.

 

To give everyone a chance to relax and visit, we have arranged to offer dinner both on Friday and Saturday evening. This will give everyone an opportunity to sit down with your friends, eat good food and drink without having to drive anywhere.  We hope you will also choose to spend some money on the great items we have gathered to help fund our 3 specialties this weekend. By extending our special fund raising events over two evenings, as well as bring in Saluki vendors (rather than cramming everything into a few short hours) both nights, we give everyone a chance to see lovely things and still schmooze with friends.

 

Friday, Feb 10, 6-9 pm , Embassy Suites

Casual reception with light fare of croissant sandwiches (choice of turkey or tuna), garden fresh salad, cole slaw, chips, decaf & coffee, hot & iced tea. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase at the bar.

Price per Person: $15 all inclusive.

 

Come mingle and visit with friends. We’ll have Saluki vendors displaying their wares for purchase, and a silent auction.

 

Saturday, Feb 11, 6-10 pm , Embassy Suites

Buffet dinner offering chicken marsala, mushroom-stuffed ravioli, oriental dumpling soup, garden fresh salad, pound cake or apple pie ala mode, decaf & coffee, hot & iced tea. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase at the bar.

Price per Person: $25 all inclusive.

 

There will be a lot of great raffle items along with our vendors. We also expect to offer some very nice items at our live auction, which is always a big hit with everyone.  

 

Advance reservations are required for both dinners.

 

Closing date for reservations is the same as the closing date for show entries – Wednesday, January 25, 2006 .

Vendors

 

If you are interested in table space at our Friday and Saturday night dinners at the Embassy Suites, please contact Sue Meier ( sue19454@yahoo.com or 215-661-9743). We would like to accommodate as many vendors as are interested. However, space is limited, so you will need to be prepared to limit your merchandise to the size of a small table or even some space on the floor. The only cost is the donation of an item to one of our fund raising events.
